Celebrate Halloween ComicFest @ Collectors Corner!

The temperature is finally dropping, the leaves are starting to change color, and the intoxicating aroma of pumpkin spice is in the air.  That can mean only one thing...it's almost Halloween!  It's our favorite time of year and we're happy to be able to participate in the Annual Halloween ComicFest!  Both stores will be celebrating the event and giving out FREE comics, candy, and goodies as well as holding our annual Halloween Costume Contest!

FREE COMICS AND GOODIES!
Why wait until May for free comics?!  We've got you covered on all the fantastic free books publishers are releasing for Halloween ComicFest.  We've got something for everyone...from gore loving adults to kids that might still be afraid of the dark.  Every customer through the door will be able to take FIVE free comics, while supplies last.  These comics are all limited edition books that will NOT be reprinted, so make sure to come in and grab your five while they're still here!  For a full list of all featured titles, check out http://www.halloweencomicfest.com/home/1/1/78/1147 or scroll to the bottom of this blog post to check out the covers for all the books being released.  We will also have free toys and, of course, CANDY! Remember, kids, always brush your teeth after a productive Halloween.  Don't give your dentist the satisfaction of "I told you so" once November roles around.

KIDS COLORING CONTEST
Kids 5-11 will have an opportunity to WIN a $50 gift card by coloring a brand new picture of our mascot, Collectro, fighting a giant monster!  All entries will be judged by Collectors Corner staff and the winner will be awarded the gift card, usable at any Collectors Corner location.

20 EYES SCAVENGER HUNT
Twenty plastic eyeballs will be hidden around the store during the event.  From 7:00pm-7:20pm, anybody that finds one of the eyeballs can trade it in for a special prize!  You could win graphic novels, toys, gift cards, and more!  Eyeballs can ONLY be turned in during those twenty minutes and only one per person, so make sure to keep an EYE out!  GET IT?!

COSTUME CONTEST
What would Halloween be without dressing up in an awesome costume?  It's the one night of the year you can dress however you want without getting a bunch of weird looks.  Unless that's what you're going for, in which case, good luck getting a bunch of weird looks!  If you think you have the best costume this Halloween, you can enter our annual Halloween Costume Contest for a chance to win one of SIX Collectors Corner gift cards, good at either location!  There will be first, second, and third place prizes for both kids and adults.  First place winners in each category will received a $50 gift card, while runners up will receive $25 gift cards.  We can't wait to see what each of you decides to dress up as!
